Description: Turtle Island Indigenous Education Corporation is a first Nations entity dedicated to fulfilling their Mission, Vision and Goal through offering accessible on line learning programs and courses. Our Mission: To develop and deliver innovative, culturally relevant educational products with Aboriginal people and communites. Our Vision: To further develop the social and economic potential of Aboriginal people and communities. Our Goal: To support the development of paths to intercultural, lifelong learning. Description: Aborigianl Small Business and Entrepreneur Development Program is a 48-week course comprising 12 weeks on On-Line or In-Class instruction followed by 36-weeks of professional support and coaching while starting the business. Aboriginal Small Business and Entrepreneur Development Program is an initiative of Turtle Island Indigenous Education Corporation, supported by Tsleil-Waututh nation (Burrard Indian Band) with whom we have a working agreement, Simon Fraser University Vancouver (Continuing Studies) where we hold on site classes,grants from governments, and working agreements with public, private and not-for-profit organizations. Turtle Island Indigenous Education Corporation works with aboriginal communities, provincial and federal governments, and corporate entities in the development and deliver of custom designed programs and courses. |
